Interview
Following my interview, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the whole process of the interview. This will be the preparation and performance, as well as my engagement with the pre-interview task. Pre-Interview Task The task of modelling a go-kart I found was both exciting and challenging, this allowed me to showcase a range of skills. I made sure to approach this task efficiently by starting with silhouettes, thumbnails, and concept sketches before moving into perspective drawings and refining the final model. I also made sure to complete the extra tasks of UV mapping and texturing to ensure I had a polished final result. Receiving feedback that my documentation and final model were well-considered was really encouraging. I was especially happy that my passion for Formula 1 and cars came through in my work, as I wanted my enthusiasm to be clear not just in the technical view but also in the design stage of the task.
